| Leaders Congratulating on Academician Xu’s Birthday on Behalf of School of Science |

 Before 13th National Luminescence Conference, Professor Wang Yongsheng visited Academician Xu, asking his advice of this conference and the development of luminescence in China. Professor Xu concerns about the development of luminescence in our country and masters the international advanced research of luminescence. He also proposed to convene a meeting about the strategy symposium of luminescence development in China. Coincided with his 91st birthday, Secretary Xie Yu, Professor Wang Yongsheng, He Dawei and Associate Professor Zhang Fujun, on behalf of students and faculty of Institute of Electro-optics, wished his health and longevity. They also expressed high respect and heartfelt congratulations to the contribution that Professor Xu made to the development of luminescence in China and the construction of the Institute of Electro-optics.
